We have to change our perspective.

We have to change our perspective.

Any deed that is not for our common good will not last very long. Eventually, any job or business has its benefits and risks. Occupations are like fire; they have light and smoke. Any established factory has its risks despite its benefits. They produce smoke and pollute the air. Even if they had no environmental side effects, they would not be risk free. The fact one person or group benefits from a factory or organization means some other people or groups are losing their benefits. In this regard, there is an old saying that says ”a money found by a lucky person in the streets must be lost by a miserable person”.

This is why the improvement of North countries has been associated with the recession of South countries. That is also the same reason for destruction of the third world and losing its resources along with the progress of the first world countries. Therefore, those with concerns about the universe have gathered their thought in order not to define the benefit of one group with the losses of another group. The fact is that there are so many resources and wealth in our world that cannot be allocated to just one country or group. When we focus on different aspects of our universe, we understand that these resources can be divided between all people and everyone could benefit from them. So, there is no need for one group to suffer and be miserable in order for another group to flourish.

The cornerstone of development was not correctly identified in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, even before that. It was thought that the growth and development of England depended on the destruction of India. Similarly, France would not be a wealthy country unless the African people were poor and hungry. However, this type of thinking have been changed over the course of time and the new generation is looking for common good. Scientists have searched for a way to share the benefits of an action between all people. They want the people to help each other and not to allow some individuals to destroy mountains to build huge castles. Our modern society is looking for a way to establish an economy which benefits all the people. Any person that makes an effort could be able to take advantage of the benefits. In fact, modern scientists are going back to ancient technique, which were the teachings of prophets. The modern world wanted to do something different. Nevertheless, the post-modern world is searching for better and new methods, one of which is knowledge-based economy. In terms of sociology, occupation owners believed that all the people in the society should benefit from a resource. If people of the world could not share a “resource”, their growth will not be accelerated. The important thing is the common good, which has been significantly emphasized in our religion. For instance, you want to establish a new online business in different shapes and forms. You design a system through appropriate application of technology so that any person could buy from you or handle his affairs through your services with a reasonable cost without the expense of transportation in the city. In fact, you earn money to meet the needs of the people. However, you have to spend the same amount for you community and take a part of your money to do good deeds in the society. Happiness is what the world brings to us. Pleasures and benefits are from those happy concepts. Nevertheless, the true happiness is what we give to the world.

We can offer goodness to the world through honesty, goodwill and helping others and receive an equal amount of legitimate pleasures. The more proportional these good deeds and pleasures, the more balance in the society. On the other hand, lack of proportion between the mentioned items could lead to imbalanced condition of the society. What has happened until now is that all of the people were looking for happiness while performing no good deeds for the society. There should be a balance between goodness and pleasure. Therefore, any person with high benefits must feel responsible toward his society. However, it is noteworthy that this good deed will eventually bring happiness to the person. When people learn that a factory or job owner is concerned with common good, they think of these individuals as friends and will attempt to maintain their level of benefits. Anything other than this will lead to a significant distance between poor people and capitalists. This distance will create a sense of hatred in poor people and they take any chance to destroy the capitalists. However, modern occupations are required to adjust the proportion of goodness and pleasure. We cannot create an appropriate balance between the society and entrepreneurs by using old and out-of-date systems of the 19th century. For example, some laws have been approved in the world so that job owners offer some services to the art and culture of the country. In other words, spend money on cultural and artistic works. In return, they are exempt from taxes and duties. This is an encouraging policy for entering capital to the market of art and culture. The same has been conducted in social issues. It means that each company or investor is obliged to think about ways to eliminate social problems and spend money to inhibit addiction. Today, modern capitalists have had significant activities in the field of general education in order to reduce social problems and behavioral crisis. They have been able to spread goodness to the world through these deeds and in return they benefit from many pleasures. However, the major problem is those occupations that must be changed and those perspectives that should be modified. Both people and the world should be changed. In addition, the current laws must be modified based on new perspectives. In technology businesses, there is an increasing growth in the development of quality and quantity of products. Therefore, laws and regulations in this regard must be always updated. Bureaucracy, banking system, laws, offices, and the most importantly, general perception should be oriented towards the replacement of benefiting of just one group with common good. To do so, there must be a social and cultural proportion between modern businesses.
