The ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship desperately needs creative industries

As their names imply, “Soft” and “identity-making” technologies and creative industries are directly related to experts, as well as the public and culture and civilization. Therefore, this area is significantly sensitive and its impact is penetrating and efficient.
In such conditions, in the areas of soft technologies and creative industries, “Jihad” and “belief” are so tangible that can be denied by no one. In this regard, original work of the hegemony of powers on nations is the responsibility of these products and services.
Therefore, it is only acceptable to quickly move from the appearance layers of artistic products by experts of the field, as well as scientific, cultural and art policy-makers and focus on the effectiveness of these works. Generally, understanding the content complexities and the hot market and the applicants of this field is very high demanding. It should be emphasized that creative industries are significantly important and have seriously penetrated the life of people.
One of the aspects of these industries is handicrafts. Philosophy, science, color, tradition, belief, and concerns of people of Iran are shown in these works and products, the best of which are present in our carpets. For that, we are very proud.
The previous generations were familiarized with the beauties and glory of carpets and grew and matured with that. However, greatness has been forgotten. All of those cultural and artistic views have disappeared from our lifestyle and has been replaced by bizarre furniture.
Considering the current condition of Iran, the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem desperately needs soft and identity-making technologies and creative industries. In fact, these are the spirit of this ecosystem. Formation of startups on the foundation of creative industries will remind us somethings and make us feel better. Handicrafts, architecture, music, advertisements, cinema, publications, animations, and computer games are all systems that give a new life to the body of science and technology progress in our country.
However, pointing out the Rumi story has another aspect. Our belongings from the past are so rich and valuable that any treasure or gold is worthless compared to it. Application of these cultural and art belongings and handicrafts, backed up by the Islamic culture and civilization, can enrich our technological products in the area of soft and identity-making technologies.
An overview of western works in this area confirms that they invest more than the task’s shape. Now that we have all of these belongings, each being a world of attractiveness, it would be unfair to neglect them.
In the end, I must add:
“Knowledge is the seal of the kingdom of Solomon: the whole world is form, and knowledge is the spirit.” (Rumi)
