This is a message from head of information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs published in Jaam-e Jam newspaper:

It has been a few years since I have had the honor to meet with the Supreme Leader of Iran in October along with a group of top talents and young elites due to my responsibilities in the Vice-Presidency and national elites foundation. This meeting is significantly fruitful for all of its attendees.

Statements of the supreme leader are the source of encouragement for the countrys elites more than to be only published in the media.

I believe it is pure luck for our young elites to benefit from discernment, tolerance and belief of the leader of Iran in the elites of the country. The supreme leader of Iran has explicitly stated his belief in the elites.

Due to my responsibilities in the national elites foundation, I can testify that one of the most serious barriers to development is lack of believing in elites by some managers, who despite their formalities, are unable to help the development of elites.

Those who have experienced the honorable history of the Islamic republic of Iran with their skin and blood have come to the realization that all of our victories are due to confidence in our alert and knowledgeable youth. In this sensitive area, we cannot win unless we take the recommendation of our leader to the heart and believe in our elites.

One interesting and implicit point I saw today, which is not hidden and has been previously pointed out repeatedly, is knowledge of the supreme leader about the issues of elites, topic of knowledge-based companies and quantity and quality and condition of scientific articles published in valid global newspapers and the process of science production. As suggested by the supreme leader, the quality of knowledge-based companies and scientific articles must be increased along with attention to their quantity.

Knowledge-based companies are the most important factor for realization of economy of resistance, which can lead to the creation of wealth and development of a new path.

Presence of young scholars in international scientific gatherings can result in sharing of science production and minimizing the damaging effect of scholars on politics.

In fact, mischief and rudeness of the president of the United States was also pointed out in this meeting. In this regard, the supreme leader stated that despite the cruel sanctions against Iran, our country has been turned into a model with scientific power in the mind of other nations, infuriating and disappointing dominators of the world.

This will not occur unless we believe the scientific and technological elite of the country and turn Iran into an elite training country by forming necessary policies and supports and executing regular programs.
