The advisor to the Vice President of Science and Technology spoke about the high quantitative and qualitative capacity of Made in Iran Stationery to meet domestic and export needs and continued: If we want these Iranian-made products to first meet the needs of the country and make us needless of imports, then enter the markets across the borders and export, three important elements must go hand in hand; In the first place, the government and the government must provide the necessary facilities, infrastructure and support. The regulatory department monitors the quality of products while setting standards, and most importantly, manufacturers must put their duties to the customer on the agenda by promoting the quality of the product and maintaining the standard and honoring the customer.

Karami pointed to the role of the people in supporting Made in Iran goods and added: "People should also embrace and support Iranian-made products of their homeland because they are like parents who love their children. Made in Iran goods must have a national image as an Iranian identity, and the media can promote and cultivate this culture and belief in society.

The need to increase the share of 6 thousand billion tomans from the market of 200 billion dollars

The Secretary of the Soft and Identity Technologies Development Headquarters in the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology, referring to the $ 200 billion turnover of the global stationary industry, stressed the need to increase the share of Iranian software manufacturers in the domestic and international consumer market and added: Stationery turnover in the country is about 6 thousand billion tomans per year, of which 40% is domestic and 60% is imported and foreign. Of course, before this, the ratio was 80 to 20 percent, and this high level of imports is due to the lack of similar production of some stationery.

Karami, stating that domestic manufacturers are capable in the field of Stationery technology, However, the necessary grounds should be provided for more production and export, he continued: The reason for not producing some products in the field of stationery in the country is not due to lack of necessary technology and technical knowledge, but due to its economic inefficiency. We do not have any particular problem in many items of office, pens and pencils, and 600 million pens are needed in the country per year, of which 200 million are Iranian pens with good quality.

He continued: "If no imports are made, Iranian producers are ready to cover all this amount."  We have no import restrictions in the field of pencils and there is a very good competition inside this product. However, software smuggling occurs at a minimum of 10 to 15 percent.

The Secretary of the Cultural and Knowledge-Based Economy and Development of Soft and Identity-Building Technologies Headquarters, referring to the support of the presence of Made in Iran products in the corridors of export development and technology exchange, houses of innovation and export of Iran in other countries, added: Export should be based on the taste of the country Therefore, it is necessary to achieve the taste of each country and produce according to their tastes. There is a readiness to provide the ground for the export of Iranian Stationery products through export corridors as well as Iranian creative and innovation houses in other countries.

The need to create a character in the field of stationary

Karami, one of the important issues in the field of stationery design, considered the local character and characterization in this field and said: Most of the designs in this area are dedicated to Western animated characters. Stationery design is based on Iranian and Islamic cultural contexts and is based on a chain of native animated characterizations that need to be transformed.

He added: "In the field of stationery design, we do not lack content, there are good designs in the country and the only issue is that the economic cycle of commercialization should give commercialization opportunities to cultural design by creating copyright laws."
