Therefore, we need to find a replacement for this fuel in order to reduce energy consumption and witness the alleviated energy use and increased productivity of production in this industry.

In this regard, a meeting was held in the presence of Sirous Vatankhah, secretary of energy technologies development headquarter, CEO of the Waste Management Organization of Tehran Municipality and managers of Cement Industry Employers Association and cement factory of Tehran. In this meeting, the main goals were increase of interaction and evaluation of cooperation fields in two sections of waste management and cement industry with an emphasis on production and use of replace fuels in cement industry. Some of the results of use of residue-derived fuels (RDF) in the cement industry include the reduction of fuel consumption and sustainable increase in energy supply in the industry of energy on cement and reduction of wastes. In the end, it was concluded that the Waste Management Organization of Tehran Municipality and Cement Industry Employers Association must evaluate the technical and economic aspects and volume of necessary investments in two sections of RDF production and consumption. In addition, the results must be followed up in future meetings with the energy technologies development headquarter.
