Over a joint meeting between the energy technologies development headquarter and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), some decisions were made regarding cooperation in development of renewable energies in Iran.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, UNIDO is one of the specialized organization of the United Nations. The energy technologies development headquarter had a meeting with this the representative of this organization, which is in the path of promotion and acceleration of industrial development in developing countries or passing economies and development of international industrial relations.

In this meeting, the representative of UNIDO expressed: this organization acts as a communication network between other countries. Therefore, we invite government organizations to use this path as long as there are facilities available.

He added: even the chambers of commerce of Iran do not use the necessary facilities in the basis of international relations, compared to other countries, and there is a need for organizational support from the Vice-Presidency. Therefore, we can use the capacities of the industrial development organization of the United Nations to the benefit of startups.

He emphasized the progress made in Iran in the field of energy, asserting: Iran must not be compared to any other country in the region since Iran is very close to the standards of this field. In addition, since 2015, Iran has been recognized as one of the countries that not only does not need a financial support but also it can help others as well.

Kambiz Mahdizadeh, secretary of energy technologies development headquarter, affirmed: the United Nations has always sought peace. Renewable energies are clean energies. Therefore, a mutual language can be established to decrease the distance in this field.

He continued: Iran is looking for peach and has always support peaceful projects. We are looking for a considerable output, which must be tangible in the society and have a constant effect in the desired field.

He also conveyed: the attention of the Vice-Presidency to startups has affected the face of Tehran and Iran.

Secretary of energy technologies development headquarter claimed: fortunately, there has been a reverse trend of elite emigration, and startups have been established in the country that are the result of work of these individuals. Experience has shown that trust in young people results in a win-win situation. As a result, this area is ready for international cooperation.
