The vice president for science and technology affairs traveled to Turkey

 

After the successful trip of Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs to China, which led to the signing of seven agreements for development of knowledge-based export to the most populous country in the world, Sattari entered Ankara, Turkey as the head of a high-ranking knowledge-based delegation. 

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the travel was made with the goal of developing international interactions of knowledge-based companies to accelerate the export of products and services to Turkey and make promising improvements in the collaboration between the technological companies of the two countries.

Turkey is a crossroads of Northwest Asia and Europe, many of its technology companies are influential in various countries and Central Asia, and Iranian knowledge-based companies can seize the opportunity to expand and expand their interactions with these companies.

During the trip, Sattari is accompanied by managers of 80 technological and knowledge-based companies active in the fields of health, information technology and communication, machineries and industrial equipment and advanced materials.

On the first day of the trip, Sattari met the vice president of Turkey and the ministry of industry and technology and the head of higher education council in Ankara to talk about solutions to develop scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries.

After that, he will travel to Istanbul for two days. This city is the largest and most populous city in Turkey, and the cultural and economic center of the country will host commercial meetings between Iranian and Turk knowledge-based companies.

Iranian and Turkish companies have good relations and interactions and this journey is followed by the development of these interactions. In the past two years, knowledge-based companies have exported about $80 million to Turkey.

In addition, Sattari will present a speech on the opening ceremony of the meeting. During the trip, Sattari will also meet with Iranian students residing in Turkey.
