The vice president for science and technology affairs entered the Sistan and Baluchestan Province

 

The vice president for science and technology affairs entered the city of Zabol in Sistan and Baluchestan to inaugurate the executive operations of construction of floating solar power plant on the third Chah Nimeh in Zahak distraction and visit the technological and knowledge-based projects of the region.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, this morning Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, entered the city of Zabol in Sistan and Baluchestan to inaugurate the executive operations of construction of floating solar power plant on the third Chah Nimeh in Zahak distraction, visit the technological and knowledge-based projects of the region and participate in the administrative council meeting of Zabol. He was welcomed by the governor and other authorities of the region.

Visit of Technology Project for Reducing Water Evaporation from Chah Nimeh

In the first part of his travel to Sistan and Baluchestan, Sattari attended a meeting with scientific faculty members and head of University of Zabol to talk about methods for reducing water evaporation in Chah Nimeh, decreasing the volume of dunes and increasing the capacities of the province in the area of medicinal plants.

In addition, the executive operations for inaugurating the floating solar power plant on the third Chah Nimeh in the Zahak district will be initiated in the presence of the vice president for science and technology affairs.

Sattari also visited the research complex of Baghatollah and the proposed area for implementing the project of reducing water evaporation in Chah Nimeh using solar panels.

Chah Nimeh is a natural large holes located 50 km from Zabol and five km from Zahak near the Ghale Noi village. There are four Chah Nimehs in Sistan and Baluchestan, which guide the excess water of Hirmand river by a canal.
