Hassan Rouhani, the president of Iran, issued the law for maximum use of production and service provision power of the country and support of Iranian-made products.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the president of Iran issued the “law for maximum use of production and service provision power of the country and support of Iranian-made products” to the ministries of industry, mine, and trade, economic affairs and finance, and management and planning organization of Iran in line with the implementation of Article 130 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to this report, effective measures were taken last year to support domestic producers and their products, including the issuance of the directive for cultural solutions and actions for support of Iranian products by the president and prohibition of purchase of products with domestic counterparts by the domestic organizations.

The cultural measures and promotion of the culture of using Iranian products are significantly important. Since two years ago, the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter has aimed to hold the national, cultural, and art festival of Made-in-Iran to take an effective step toward the culture-building and familiarizing the public with technological and innovative abilities of the country. Made-in-Iran accelerates the pace of advancement in the country by creating movement in society and paying attention to domestic products. To date, two rounds of this event have been held, which have led to the culture-building of Iranian products among the public through the interaction of the science and art societies.
