The innovation center of K. N. Toosi University of Technology is inaugurated

 

The innovation center that is affiliated with the K. N. Toosi University of Technology is inaugurated in the presence of Sorena Sattari.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, attended the opening ceremony of Nasir Innovation Center. In this event, he emphasized the necessity of forming entrepreneurship ecosystem at the center of universities, stating: an entrepreneurship ecosystem must be formed in universities. In this regard, the necessary aids must be provided for students who have saleable ideas.

Sattari pointed out the effective role of universities and investors in this regard, asserting: along with the role playing of universities and investors, the government can provide the necessary counseling for companies to develop these businesses.

He continued: financial helps must be stopped for continuous presence of companies in the competitive markets since entrance of the investors and universities to this field is crucial.

According to this report, there are about 10 knowledge-based companies in Nasir Innovation Center, which work on various fields, including turning solar energy into heat, manufacturing drying devices, and automotive industry. In addition, Sorena Sattari visited the cognition assessment system on the ability to keep awake. In this event, Sattari was accompanied by Peyman Salehi, deputy for innovation and commercialization of technology, Esmail Ghaderifar, head of strategic technologies development center, Hesam Zand Hesami, general director of office of innovation and new businesses, and Ali Khaki Sedigh, president of the K. N. Toosi University of Technology.
