According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sirous Vatankhah, secretary of energy technologies development headquarter, stated on the first gathering of accelerators and startups of energy field: energy is one of the prominent and essential fields of the country. Without a doubt, development with any form and kind is related to this section. Currently, insufficient water reserves is one of the important crisis of the country, which cannot be solved expect for using energy.

Secretary of energy technologies development headquarter pointed out the new technological events in the world, expressing: there are new phenomena in the area of technology of the world, and disturbing technologies have changes traditional thinking styles, in a way that they have penetrated in various revolutionary areas. Therefore, this issue must be considered in the energy section of the country.

One of the important goals of this meeting is using technologies to change the mental models and formulas in the area of energy. The necessity of this change is application of disturbing technologies and new businesses. New businesses with novel thinking styles can change the mental images of traditional leaders.

According to Vatankhah, with regard to the importance of new businesses, the proper environment must be created for activities of accelerators. New businesses can interact with the common people in some sections, expanding their role playing in this way. Statistics have shown that more than 20% of energy waste is in buildings. Therefore, evaluation of this field can cause a great evolution in energy consumption. The headquarter is also looking for growth of startups and accelerators in the area of energy since entrance of creative and innovative individuals to this field can cause great changes.
