During a one-day trip to Chabahar, the vice president for science and technology affairs inaugurated the Makran science and technology park to take another step toward the realization of development of ecosystem of innovation and technology.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Makran science and technology park is inaugurated by Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, in Chabahar free zone so that a step could be taken toward the improvement of innovation and technology ecosystem of the region, investment in new businesses, startups and support of technological youth. The inauguration of this science and technology park accelerates and facilitates the use of domestic capacities of the region and cooperation in attracting domestic and foreign investments.

In total, 18 startup companies are active in this region in the field of electricity, food industry, biotechnology, growth of medical herbs and medical services and manufacturing electrical cars.

Technological Occupation Formation in a 100-hectar Area

With a 100-hectar area, Makran science and technology park has laid the foundation for establishment of knowledge-based units to increase the pace of their development with the use of a part of the ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship of the country.

Allocating a physical area of 1500 m² and 7,000 m² is passing its executive process, and soon 30 hectares of land will be allocated to this industry to form entrepreneurship reserve and value formation. Therefore, knowledge-based and technological businesses and creative industries will have a place in Makran science and technology park to flourish their technological businesses and innovative ideas.

Online Hospital Project Is Inaugurated

The online hospital project was exploited in the presence of Sattari. This project is the result of cooperation between professors of medical sciences of Tehran and international University of Chabahar and Makran technology park.

Visit of Active Organization in the Field of Fishery

During this one-day trip, the vice president for science and technology affairs visited various parts of Tohfe Co., which is one of the largest production companies in the field of Iranian fishery products.

Production of Knowledge-based Products from Shrimp Skin

Sattari also visited the production stage of “chitin” in South Arman Unit of Tohfe Co.
