The domestication movement of automotive industry will be accelerated

Cooperation agreements were signed between knowledge-based spare part manufacturers and Iran Khodro Co. in the presence of the vice president for science and technology affairs to accelerate the trend of producing Iranian pieces of the industry with the highlighted role of the activists in the innovation ecosystem.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, was the guest of Iran Khodro Co. to witness the signing of several cooperation agreements between Sapco, knowledge-based companies and Pardis Technology Park to accelerate the pace of developing the automotive industry with the help of the activists in the innovation ecosystem.

The Innovation of Knowledge-based Companies Will Make the Automotive Industry Dynamic

Emphasizing the importance of laying the foundation for the presence of innovation of knowledge-based companies in the automotive industry of the country, Sattari expressed: we must decide which one to pursue: factory establishment, car manufacturing, or automotive industry. The border between being or not being knowledge-based is evident based on this decision.

The president of the national elites foundation regarded a capacity of more than four million and 500,000 human resources as an opportunity to develop industries and penetrate innovation, asserting: the capacity of graduated and creative human resources has doubled the necessity of establishing a knowledge-based industry, use of which can led to access to considerable capacities in the industry and advancement in automotive manufacturing.

Iran’s Automotive Industry Seriously Seeks Advancement

The president of the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter continued: I am happy to see the start of this trend. By holding the event of technological needs of the automotive industry by Iran Khodro Co. in cooperation with Iran national innovation fund shows its serious determination to make improvements and development with the help of the innovation and technology of knowledge-based companies and startups.

Pointing out the large economy of the automotive industry in the country, Sattari mentioned: the industry will shift the borders of various technologies and involve different areas, from biotechnology to artificial intelligence. Application of these technologies has become a serious debate in the world, and large industries must inevitably move toward the development of technologies in different fields, such as automation.

According to Sattari, knowledge-based companies in different fields, such as artificial intelligence, can help the automotive industry of the country define its needs and meet them in cooperation with these companies.

According to the report, Iran Khodro Co. signed five cooperation agreements with Sapco, knowledge-based companies and Pardis Technology Park. The first agreement was signed in the presence of Pir Mohammadi, the CEO of Sapco, and Safarinia, the head of Pardis Technology Park, to create a specialized technomart at Pardis Technology Park.

Another agreement was signed between Sapco and Royal San’at knowledge-based Co. to implement an EMP system on cars in the country for the first time. Realization of this technology would lead to saving more than 150 million Dollars. In addition, Sayal Niroo San’at knowledge-based Co. signed an agreement with this automotive manufacturer to develop hydraulic steering wheels on the car platform.

In addition, Fadak San’at Pouya Shad signed an agreement with Sapco to produce gas used in car cooling in Iran. According to these agreements, knowledge-based companies that could meet the needs of the automotive industry will be supported in the field of spare part manufacturing.
