The third international conference of renewable energies in Iran will be held with the support of the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter and energy technologies development headquarter.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Barat Ghobadian, head of the third international conference of renewable energies, expressed: in this event, experts, organizations and activists in the field of renewable energies will come together to showcase their latest achievements. Considering the international nature of the topic, researchers from countries such as India and Germany will be present to witness the holding of one of the most important events in the area of renewable energies in Iran.

Research and technology deputy of ministry of industry, trade and business, pointed out that today, renewable energies compete with fuel resources, expressing: 25 years ago, the cost of producing 1 kw of electricity from wind power plants was 25 times the conventional power plants. However, developments made in the field have made it competitive with traditional fuels. Therefore, presence of prominent domestic and foreign experts will help the localization of technologies in this field.

In addition, Seyed Moslem Mousavi, CEO of association of renewable energies, pointed out that the significant progress has been made in the area of renewable energies in the past few years. In this regard, he continued: this conference will be held October 8^th-9^th, 2018 to be a place for evaluation of challenges and solutions of the field.

Mousavi also asserted: in this round, we will witness the presence of tens of domestic and foreign technological companies, which will showcase their products and achievements. Moreover, the international renewable energies agency will hold a specialized workshop.

He mentioned the holding of five specialized panel, continuing: given the importance of export of renewable electricity to the neighboring countries, a specialized panel will be held on export of renewable electricity in the conference. “Financial and economic challenges of renewable power plants” is the title of another panel that will be held to witness solutions in this area. Others panels will be carried out with the titles of “role of renewable energies in water and environment fields” and “provincial challenges of renewable power plants”, and “small and medium water electricity power plants; visions, challenges and opportunities”.

Seyed Mohammad Sadeghzadeh, CEO of Satba, pointed out the role of renewable energies in social and economic development of countries, expressing:  not only the development of renewable energies is considered as a way to supply energy in countries, but also it is recognized as a social movement to fairly distribute wealth and maintain the environment.

Sadeghzadeh explained about the role of renewable area in occupation, affirming: development of this area will be associated with the formation of knowledge-based occupations. However, development of technologies is crucial as well. Fortunately, scientific centers and industries have taken effective steps in this field.
