Secretary of knowledge-based economy and culture-building development headquarter announced the publication of the book of international displacement of students and graduates at the level of Iran and the world.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Parviz Karami, secretary of knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter, pointed out the pbulication of the book of international displacement of students and graduates at the level of Iran and the world in this May, stating: this book is the result of statistical research and evaluation of international displacement processes of students and graduates at the level of Iran and the world, which is published by the policy-making program for emigration of elites in the science, technology and industry policy-making research center of Sharif University of Technology.

He stated: given the lack of specialized studies in this area, this book has attempted to portray a relatively clear and up-to-date image of the latest issues in the international displacement of students and graduates.

According to the advisor to the president of the national elites foundation, this book is compiled to present a general image of the current condition of displacement of international students. Student mobility is drawn in the first section of the book with details, and the second section includes the condition and position of Iran in this regard.

Karami also asserted: in the third and last section of the book, the policies and programs to attract and keep the international students in countries are presented.

The advisor to the vice president for science and technology affairs continued: in the appendix section, beneficial and applicable information is presented on identification, indexing and measurement of population of emigrants, which specifically covers the number of Iranians in two countries of Iran and Canada.
