According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the Silk Road Science Fund (SRSF) will be held by the science academy of China. This foundation supports the joint projects of Iranian researchers and the science academy of China in six areas of nanotechnology, renewable energies, cognitive sciences, advanced materials, water sciences and medical engineering based on the third published call. These supports are in three forms of performing joint research projects, holding joint workshops, and exchange of researchers for a short duration.

According to this report, the results of joint evaluation of scientific groups of Iran and China was finalized on the projects and workshops approved in the third call of SRSF, and researchers can refer to the website of this foundation to receive the results. Therefore, the executives of the project after the reforms, according to judges, can start the implementation of the plan at the beginning of the next year. Moreover, the result of the short visit is after the acceptance by the Academy of Sciences. In the third call, six research projects are supported.
