Chairman of Iran national space administration stated: despite the low revenue created in the area of satellite launch and construction, these two industries are the origin of income in the service and ground equipment fields.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Manouchehr Manteghi, chairman of Iran national space administration, pointed out the need of the country to satellite launching and manufacturing, stating: as a newly emerged country in the area of aviation, we need to mainly focus on launch and manufacturing of satellites.

He added: in fact, the area of satellite launch and manufacturing can be associated with the growth of economy in the country.

According to Manteghi, satellite services and ground equipment must be followed up in parallel by using the high capacities of knowledge-based companies.

He also explained about the revenue produced by aviation in industry of the world, affirming: the level of income products in the aviation industry of the world is more than 260 billion dollars, which is a testimony to the great importance of this industry in economic development of the nation.
