According to the public relations and information center of the presidency vice presidency for science and technology affairs, the marine knowledge-based industries’ innovation and technology development headquarter  held a meeting with presence representatives of organizations know as the leadership council of executing the road map of technology by inviting 18 active ministries and organizations in the field of sea for finalization of process of execution of the road map of marine technologies. At this meeting, the process of compiling the road map of marine technologies was illustrated and cooperation methods for developing the marine prior technologies were analyzed.

Ali Vatani- the technology development deputy of the presidency vice presidency for science and technology affairs mentioned that approving the comprehensive marine act of the country was a gigantic and important job in year 1394, stated in this meeting: Since at least 18 big and effective organizations are contributed in the field of sea and this field is related to economic, tourism, security, defensive and bio environmental fields so convergence and synergy of organizations for carrying out national attempts are very sensitive.

Mohammad Saeed Seif- president of the marine knowledge-based industries and technology development headquarter also mentioned the importance of the road map of marine technologies in the country and declared: Compiling the road map of marine technologies started its compilation stages form early 1393, was concluded and agreed upon by over than18 active organizations in the field of sea to the end of year 1394. This road map has been criticized and analyzed and rectified in several panels during the last two years and was confirmed by over than 300 academic teachers in their professional fields.

Mentioning the usage of different kind of supportive tools by the marine knowledge-based industries and technology development headquarter, he stated: With written plannings, the headquarter has managed to compiled the road map of marine technologies and is trying in this vein to deal with execution of the road map by using supportive tools such as support and cooperation in technological projects, defining different kind of military service reduction projects, supporting dissertations, using available tools in the National Elites Foundation and the fund of supporting the researchers.
