Technological businesses of digital economy will flourish in the joint work space

In line with the opening of the first technology park of digital economy in Mashhad, information technology, communication and cyberspace development council and the ministry of communication signed the memorandum of understanding for establishment and creation of one of the largest joint spaces and accelerators of the country so that the innovation center and accelerator for technological businesses in the field of digital economy could be soon established.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the development of technology-based business in the field of digital economy, as well as the inevitable role of the Vice-Presidency and the ministry of communications and information technology in developing the ecosystem of emerging businesses and the foundation of knowledge for shaping the digital economy, which is one of the same measures to help authorities take a positive step in this direction.

Therefore, In line with the opening of the first technology park of digital economy in Mashhad, information technology communication and cyberspace development counciland the ministry of communication signed the memorandum of understanding for establishment and creation of one of the largest joint spaces and accelerators of the country so that the innovation center and accelerator for technological businesses in the field of digital economy could be soon established.

This agreement was signed by Mahdi Mohammadi, secretary of the information technology, communication and cyberspace development council, and Amir Nazemi, deputy minister and head of information technology organization and in the presence of the minister of ICT and governor of Khorasan Razavi Province.

The center will include several private and digital accelerators and a collaborative work space and empowerment services to host startup programs. The center of innovation and acceleration in a space of six thousand meters and the simultaneous deployment of eight accelerators and the capacity of more than 150 startup teams in one year will be created.

The center for innovation and accelerator of the digital economy business technologies is set up with the mission of deploying accelerators and startups and technology teams.

This innovation and accelerator aims to expand and support the development of knowledge-based economics and to support technological innovation related to digital economy with an emphasis on strategic technologies and future developments in the fields of artificial intelligence and machine learning, Internet of Things, big data and cloud computing, intelligent technologies, block chains and digital currencies, virtual reality and augmented reality, and cognitive science and information technology combinations.

 

Developing and supporting the diversification of the ecosystem of emerging knowledge-based and businesses by using the capabilities of digital economy technologies with an emphasis on applications related to social innovation, health, tourism, traffic and intelligent transport, recycling and rotating economies, agriculture and optimization of energy consumption, water and drought and air pollution are other goals of the center.

Moreover, the memorandum aims to develop and strengthen the capabilities of the ecosystem of emerging digital businesses in Khorasan Razavi province and neighboring provinces, and to develop and strengthen the export capacity of digital economy businesses by targeing the neighboring markets of this province.
