Secretary of biotechnology development headquarter stated: a list of 61 medications has been prepared in the national prioritization of biotechnology, and we will support knowledge-based companied to produce the 12 remaining medication.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Mostafa Ghanei pointed out that Iran has prioritized 61 medication in its national prioritizations, asserting: from this number of medications, 29 drugs are at various production stages (before finalization).

He added: in addition, 20 items have been produced, 29 drugs are being produced and 12 medications have remained, which are still at the lowest production level.

According to Ghanei, the 12 non-manufactured medications are determined and their list has been prepared. However, no knowledge-based company has still announced its preparedness for their production.

He also affirmed: we will support knowledge-based companies to produce the 12 remaining medications and these companies can announce their preparedness for production of medications to the biotechnology development headquarter.
