Starting the joint program of the Vice Presidency of Science and the Association of Knowledge-Based Companies for the development of the domestic and foreign markets of companies

The Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy and the National Association of Advanced and Knowledge-Based Industries and Mining Companies agreed to facilitate the activities and development of domestic and export markets of knowledge-based companies.

According to the communication and information center in the vice presidency of science, technology and knowledge-based economy, the cooperation agreement for the development of knowledge-based economy with the cooperation of the vice presidency of science, technology and knowledge-based economy and the national association of advanced and knowledge-based industries and mining companies were concluded to promote the resilience of development for export markets, creation of innovation and technology consortia.

This joint cooperation agreement was signed by Ruhollah Dehghani, the vice president of science, technology and knowledge-based economy, and Mohammad Mahdi Nayebi, the chairman of the board of directors of the National Association of Advanced Industrial and Mining Companies. According to this agreement, this program will consist of two implementation stages, the first stage will be implemented from the second half of 2023 to 1402025 and the second stage from 2025 to 2029.

The vice president of science, technology and knowledge-based economy, referring to the high capacity of large and Pishran knowledge-based companies in conquering domestic and export markets, said: large and Pishran knowledge-based companies have a very good capacity to obtain a significant share of employment, added value and promote the resilience of industries. The cooperation and interaction of these companies can be the initiator and developer of big and value-creating projects.

Dehghani said that we hope that this year and next year, developments will be realized in the field of knowledge-based companies of Pishran and continued: The members of this association are among the most capable large companies in the country and can implement several large projects by creating large knowledge-based consortia. With this cooperation agreement, in the form of a national and joint program and centered on several knowledge-based companies in the form of a consortium, several driving and key projects will be implemented such as the one implemented in cooperation with the oil industry.

One of the main axes of this agreement is to identify and quantify the challenges and needs of the development for knowledge-based products and provide innovative solutions to complete the value chain, promote resilience and meet national needs in the production and manufacture of raw materials, promote technological and innovative capabilities to maintain the advantage He pointed out the competitiveness of knowledge-based products at both domestic and international levels, the strengthening of financing and investment tools for knowledge-based companies.

Managing the competition of knowledge-based companies in the field of producing similar knowledge-based products with the approach of improving quality at the international level, creating a culture of increasing demand for knowledge-based products inside the country, networking and strengthening the cooperation of knowledge-based companies with the aim of participating in product production and development, creating joint cooperation. Another focus of this agreement is cooperation between large industries and knowledge-based companies to produce new products, product development, quality improvement, and development of export markets through the creation of consortia.

It should be noted that the Association of Knowledge-Based Companies currently consists of 31 members, which are capable companies with a high level of technology with annual sales of more than 10 billion Tomans and the development of strategic products of the country. The total sales of these 31 companies in 2022 was more than 10 thousand billion Tomans. The lowest sales figure is 20 billion tomans, the highest sales figure is 1,659 billion tomans, and the average sales of companies is 337 billion tomans; The total number of personnel of these companies is 7,565 and the average number of personnel is 244.
