Along with the “technological gathering of organizations, industries, knowledge-based companies and startups in the field of water, drought, erosion, and environment, 10 cooperation agreements and two cooperation contracts were signed between the players of the ecosystem.

The gathering was held during November 30^th-December 1^st, 2019, where managers, activists, knowledge-based companies and startups of the field were gathered to witness signing agreements.

According to Nader Gholi Ebrahimi, the secretary of water, drought, erosion, and environment technologies development headquarter, these contracts and agreements are worth 50 billion Tomans.

He added: in addition, five specialized panels were held in the gathering, the achievement of three panels was 26 cooperation agreement with a value of 13 billion tomans. In addition, 337 face-to-face meetings have been held between knowledge-based companies and startups at one side and the government and private sectors at the other side, which has led to the anticipation of signing agreements with a value of 100 billion Tomans. Notably, two other specialized panels will be held.

The 12 agreements and contracts are presented below:

Completion of technical knowledge, construction, commissioning and operation of reverse osmosis membrane industrial pilot between the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology Affairs and the Iranian Industrial Development and Renovation Organization.

Expanding the use of modern technologies for the provision and treatment of safe drinking water in deprived areas of Bushehr Province through the construction and operation of new water treatment systems between the Vice-Presidency, governorate of Bushehr Province, and rural water and wastewater company of Bushehr Province.

Using new technologies to improve the quality of drinking water in Khuzestan Province, especially under-privileged rural areas, between the rural water and wastewater company of Khuzestan Province and Payamavaran Nanotechnology Fardanegar Co.

Construction and localization of technological equipment of sea breeding cages between Sharif Marine Technology Development Co. and Mehrkar Co.

Development of silicon carbide ceramic membrane technology and purification package in Moallem Kelayeh in Qazvin province between the Vice-Presidency, governorate of Qazvin, water and wastewater company of Qazvin and Ebadgroup – electron beam company.

Cooperation in development of technologies and using knowledge-based businesses in the area of internet of things (IoT), remote sensing (RS), and geographical information system (GIS) in Keshavarzi insurance industry between the Vice-Presidency and Keshavarzi Insurance fund.

Establishment of non-government research and technology fund in the field of water, drought, erosion and environment and energy between the Vice-Presidency, Aban Accelerator, and Apadana VC.

Performing research and technology development projects in fields of water, electricity and energy, automation of water and electricity network of ministry of energy, reducing waste in electricity networks and optimizing the management of electricity and energy use between Satkap and Behpouyan Co.

Application of technological, economic and scientific capacities of the other party to activate potential capabilities and develop cooperation in the fields of new technology, information technology, exploitation of knowledge-based companies, development of tourism in water establishments, issuance of technical and managerial services, receiving financial support for water and electricity industry between the Vice Presidency and Satkap Co.

Performing research and technology development projects in the water and energy fields, creating suitable opportunities for using services and abilities such as research and lab equipment, counseling and creating the infrastructure for related startups, counseling on recognition and defining research and technology needs to introduce the required experts for monitoring to startups between Aban Accelerator and Novin Niroo Co.

Performing research and technology development projects in water and energy fields such as desalination technologies, industrial and municipal wastewater treatment, and disinfection of rural, urban and industrial drinking water between Satkap and Aban Accelerator.
