The main goal of this knowledge-based complex is providing a series of healthcare services in the form of 36 specialized clinics in various treatment areas.
Production of Two Iranian Knowledge-based Devices
During this visit, the vice president for science and technology affairs observed two advanced devices made in Iran.
In another part of the visit, the linear medical accelerating device (made in Iran), which can be applied to diagnose and treat cancer, was installed. Construction of this device requires a high technical knowledge, and its production has been carried out by Behyar San’at Knowledge-based Co.
Construction and commercialization of this device are supported in the form of macro projects of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs.
According to the CEO of this company, the foreign counterpart of this product has an approximate cost of $1.2-3 million while construction of the domestic type of the device led to spending only $150 thousand, which prevents the exit of currency from the country.
Moreover, the high quality and technology of this knowledge-based product pave the way for bringing currently into the country through export.
The X-ray machine of Iran, with the use of viewing and scanning the product"s container, has also been operational for another device.
This knowledge-based device allows you to view cargo shipments by producing X-rays and receiving signals on identifiers and showing the inside of containers and cargos.
This knowledge-based device has been commercialized in the country for the first time with the support of the Vice-Presidency.
By construction of this device, our country is placed on the list of four countries with this technology. The cost of the foreign counterpart of the device is $2-3 million. However, construction of the Iranian type of the product costs less than $100 thousand, which is associated with a considerable saving of currency along with creating the basis for bringing currency to the country through export.
