According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, one of the areas of the third festival of stem cells and regenerative medicine, which will be held by the stem cells sciences and technologies development headquarter, is educational workshops. These workshops are in a way that addresses some of the educational and research needs associated with the stem cells and regenerative medicine field of applicants and researchers.

After sending pre-proposals to the workshop"s executives and evaluation of the works by the workshop committee, a total of 20 domestic workshops and three foreign workshops was approved based on the feedbacks and suggestions of the last year’s event. Priority in the selection of workshops has been to ensure that all scientific strata associated with the knowledge of stem cells and regenerative medicine, including students, graduates, researchers, teachers and other scientists in related sciences can benefit from workshops. . All workshops will be held at the prestigious scientific and educational centers in the province of Tehran.

The effort is to make these workshops more practical and not merely to the aspect of the theory of related issues. In total, 20 workshop titles are considered in this program. The focus of the workshops is cell therapy, gene therapy, tissue engineering, and immune therapy areas.

The titles of workshops that will be held during the third festival of stem cells and regenerative medicine include tissue engineering; familiarity with the concepts and applications of stem cells and laboratory work (specially for experts and teachers); fibroids and human keratinocyte feces and their cultivation; knowledge of bioinformatics of micro-BNAS in human behavioral settings; pyrocoensing and its applications; advanced registration of inventions in the field of stem cells; knowledge of stem cell sciences in schools; generation of retroviral and vertebrate viruses; isolation and culture of human fat derived from stromal cells; and isolation and culture of mesenchymal stem cells, and primary cell cultures.

Other topics of the workshops are design of pre-clinical studies and familiarity with animal models of ischemic heart disease for use in tissue engineering; theoretical and practical workshop for the production and maintenance of induced pluripotent cells; human and animal cell culture principles; skin tissue engineering (with emphasis on different scaffolding methods); genome with CRISPR Cas9; familiarity with flow cytometry principles and its application in clinical diagnoses; practical techniques for HLA Typing; molecular diagnosis of partial disease remaining in CML after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation; essay writing and VRIAL METAGENOMICS.

The third national festival and international congress of stem cells and regenerative medicine will be held November 24^th-December 1^st, 2018 by the efforts of stem cells sciences and technologies development headquarter.
