Secretary of nanotechnologies development headquarter emphasized the possibility of exporting one billion dollars of nano products up to 2025.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the best media and news activists of nanotechnology field were introduced in the presence of authorities of nanotechnology development headquarter in the Book Garden of Tehran on August 13^th 2018. In this event, Sarkar emphasized the possibility of exporting one billion dollars of nano products up to 2025.

Every year, the nanotechnology development headquarter holds the festival of “nano and media” and appreciation ceremony of “top media” and “highly efficient individuals” in promotion of nanotechnology. This festival encompasses two main sections of “public” and “specialized and industrial” media and was held in the presence of Saeed Sarkar, secretary of nanotechnologies development headquarter, Emad Ahmadvand, manager of the promotion working group of the headquarter, and managers and activists of media in the country. During this event, the top individuals of various media sections were introduced and awarded. 

In this ceremony, Sarkar appreciated the work of media, introducing them as the front soldiers for promotion and notification of nanotechnology. Emphasizing the importance of the fourth rank of Iran in production of science, he requested that the media support the scientific, industrial, commercial and technological achievements of Iran in the nanotechnology field.

He continued: we have regarded a horizon for this industry, which is the prioritization of export of Iranian technologies and products. Therefore, we exported 6.5 million worth of dollars products to China last year, and it is aimed to increase this rate to 20 million dollars.

Sarkar regarded this event as the condition for necessary supports, asserting: Iran can achieve a total of one billion dollars worth of export in this field by 2025. In this regard, our witness is the export of advanced nanotechnologies to the pioneering companies, including South Korea. Nevertheless, it is aimed to introduce nanotechnology as a successful model to the authorities of the country when there is a great capacity in this field.
