Non-resident Iranian researchers cooperate with valid scientific centers and universities of the country

 

Secretary of the association of thoughts and innovation announced the sustainable cooperation with non-resident Iranians in the area of stem cells and regenerative medicine with valid universities of the country on the third national festival and international congress of stem cells and regenerative medicine after two rounds of the festival.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Dr. Kaveh Baghaei, secretary of the association of thoughts and innovation, stated: this association has the responsibility of recognizing Iranians in the area of stem cells and regenerative medicine active in all parts of the world.

He continued: this association has been established with the goal of maintaining scientific relationships in the area of regenerative medicine among Iranian scientists at the global level. To date, this association has been able to recognize more than 200 non-resident Iranian active in this area.

Baghaei explained: this association invites the active non-resident Iranian in the field of stem cells and regenerative medicine to attend, present lecture, and transfer technology and knowledge during the third festival of stem cells and regenerative medicine, that will be held by the stem cells sciences and technologies development headquarter.

Baghaei added: during the festival, joint meetings will be held between non-resident Iranians and heads of universities and relevant managers to maintain this relationship in the festival.

Baghaei pointed out that 29 non-resident Iranians have attended the second round of the festival. In this regard, he affirmed: after the last festival, seven individuals kept their cooperation with various universities, such as Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Shahid Beheshti University, and bone marrow research center.

He mentioned that the association has aimed to update the list of non-resident Iranians every year so that not just some particular individuals are invited. In this respect, he marked: to date, 118 new Iranian researchers have been recognized from non-resident Iranians, who were invited based on their scientific rate and number of published articles in valid journals.

The third national festival and international congress of stem cells and regenerative medicine will be held November 24-December 1st, 2018 at the location of the national conference center and by the efforts of the stem cells sciences and technologies development headquarter.
