The vice president for science and technology affairs attended the opening ceremony of the sixth exhibition of laboratory materials and equipment Made in Iran to unveil new knowledge-based products in this field. This event is started at the verge of the 40^th anniversary of victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, regarded the formation of a serious move toward the creation of an entrepreneurship ecosystem in the last few years as the starter of economic modifications, stating: moving toward this path will be associated with the development of startup businesses; a move initiated by knowledge-based companies and startups.

The vice president for science and technology affairs pointed out the changes made in universities, expressing: along with this move, the academic community has aimed to create a knowledge-based economy in the country, which has been associated with fundamental changes in the society.

Sattari continued: these actions and investments made in the field of education have led to the emergence of changes in the field of industry and economics, and more importantly, have made the development of science and technology in people"s lives a sweet notion.

Increased Volume of Knowledge-based Economy in the Country

The president of the national elites foundation regarded the exhibition an excellent phenomenon with the help of the ministries of sciences and health, affirming: this event represents an increase in the volume of knowledge-based economy in the country, in a way that we now see the development and growth of several science and technology parks in the country, which shows the dynamism of the creative activity of young people.

The unveiling ceremony was held in the presence of Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, and Amir Hatami, the minister of defense. In this event, six products were unveiled for the first time in the field of laboratory and knowledge-based equipment. The Sina Robotic Surgery System, pre-clinical micro CT, virtual anatomy desk, a thin-layer chromatogram scanner, an atomic force microscope type and a Copy Wizen product were unveiled at the ceremony.

Afterwards, Sorena Sattari along with the minister of defense visited the booths of pieces and materials belonging to the ministry of defense in hall 27 and then went to Persian Gulf hall to visit technological products and achievements of researchers in this field. In the mentioned hall, micro CT along with two other products in the field of laboratory equipment were unveiled.
