The head of the convergent technologies center announced the support of new convergent businesses, stating: strategies have been employed to witness the flourishing of activities of these businesses.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Ali Mohammad Soltani, head of the convergent technologies center, expressed about the development of businesses based on convergent technologies, mentioning: the first step of the center is performing the necessary studies to determine the convergent points. Following that, the center of activities in the country is determined based on the current condition. In this path, development of the products required in the country is evaluated and steps are taken to meet the needs of the country in this field.

He also affirmed: for example, the convergent center has held the sequence generation new data analysis competition to support and develop bio data businesses to witness the flourishing of products in this field as soon as possible.

According to Soltani, another important issue is supporting new businesses in the convergent field. In this regard, he added: to support these businesses, two calls of “support of new convergent technologies” is published. Recognizing and supporting the new companies of this field are measures taken by publishing these calls. Finally, the accepted projects attended the pre-acceleration rounds, which created an opportunity for startups to learn about the experiences and process of introducing their products.

Head of the convergent technologies center also marked: in these rounds, 12 meetings were held with startups to learn about different methods of development of their businesses and products. Eventually, after negotiating with support centers for business development and accelerators, they succeeded in attracting initial capital and started the work. In the new year, support for these new convergent tasks will continue to grow so that they can boom.
