The head of national brain mapping laboratory announced the establishment of the national artificial intelligence network in the field of medical imaging to witness increased scientific synergy and growth in the field.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the first national artificial intelligence network was held in medical imaging by the national brain mapping laboratory.

Mohammad Reza Ay, the head of the national brain mapping laboratory, pointed out the establishment of the national artificial intelligence network in the field of medical imaging, stating: this national network is created to increase scientific synergy due to the proper capacities for growth in the field. We can easily help the flourishing of this new method using the abilities of our researchers.

Ay continued: however, the national brain mapping laboratory has taken effective steps toward the improvement of artificial intelligence use in medical imaging. Holding this conference is in line with this issue so that domestic and foreign researchers would take effective steps toward enhancement using the latest achievements of the artificial intelligence network in medical imaging.

According to the report, the first “conference of artificial intelligence in medical imaging” is an international academy and is held during November 3^rd-4^th, 2019 under the supervision of European Association of Informatics.

In this event, the most important basic and applied concepts of artificial intelligence in radiology and other medical imaging are reviewed with the participation of prominent internal and external professors.

The national brain mapping laboratory has been established with the goal of improving activities in the field with the support of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs.
