Head of the strategic technologies development center expressed: estimates have indicated that knowledge-based companies will commercialize 80-90 thousand billion tomans of knowledge-based products and services until the end of 2019.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Esmaeil Ghaderifar, head of the strategic technologies development center, stated about the sales rate of knowledge-based companies: one of the major concerns of the Vice-Presidency in the formation of ecosystem of innovation is facilitating the path of commercialization of knowledge-based products and services. In this regard, various programs have been followed up by the Vice-Presidency.

He continued: despite many economic problems in the country in 2018, knowledge-based companies were able sell 60,000 billion tomans, which is estimated to reach 80-90 thousand billion tomans by 2019.

According to Ghaderifar, this number is not limited to the sales rate inside the country and a part of it is related to the export of knowledge-based products. 

He also asserted: entrance of knowledge-based companies to the economic field of the country promises fundamental changes in the oil-based traditional economy of the country. These changes can open the way for the youth to macro economic fields. In other words, the knowledge-based economy will give meaning to the economy of the country, changing it from small to macro economy.
