Knowledge-based Ecosystem against Corona; Technologists Produce 200 Tons of Nano-disinfectant Daily

 

The secretary of the nanotechnology development headquarter announced the production of 200 tons of nano-disinfectant daily, which has a much longer shelf life.

In the Corona crisis, technological products are one of the most important issues for any country to prevent and fight this disease. Nanotechnology, meanwhile, has received more attention with its unique product features, and nanotechnology-based products have been used in the Corona crisis.

Saeed Sarkar, the secretary of the nanotechnology development headquarter, explained about the product: in the Corona field, products influenced by nanotechnology were introduced in a timely manner. Several companies are working on various models of masks and meet the country"s needs for this product.

He added: there are 12 technology companies involved in the production of disinfectants, in a way that 200 tons of nano-disinfectant are produced daily. 70% of these substances are more effective than alcohol and their durability has been confirmed for up to three days. In addition, the production of air disinfectants is another part of the activity in this field, which is being carried out by two companies.
