Iran’s model for the development of science and technology is unique

 

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sujeewa Senasinghe, the minister of science, technology and research of Sri Lanka, regarded Iran a country with adequate knowledge and technology in the meeting with Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, expressing: Iran is a capable country in the field of innovation and technology and can properly exchange its knowledge and technology. With cooperation among companies, scientific centers and universities, this ability can pave the way for the development and advancement of the two countries.

She pointed out that the national and international power of countries depend on their scientific and innovative power, asserting: we can be integrated with Iran in these technologies, and develop this type of cooperation by establishing a similar view among science and technology activists of the two countries.

Senasinghe talked about the efficiency of technology development models and the development model of Iran has been able to improve the domestic and unique technology model proportional to the needs of this country. In this regard, she added: the difference of Iran with other countries in the attitude toward science and technology development is evident, and this is a unique Iranian preference and a model for other countries. Based on these characteristics, we would like to cooperate with Iran and use its experience in the fields of science, technology, and innovation.

Innovation Ecosystem of Iran Will Pave the Way for Scientific and Technological Cooperation

The vice president for science and technology affairs regarded the innovation ecosystem of Iran the foundation for scientific and technological interaction with other countries. He also announced the presence of several knowledge-based activists of Iran in Sri Lanka and interaction with companies.

He also considered the presence of science and technology parks, research centers and innovation centers of the two countries another area for interaction.

In this meeting, the attendees discussed the development of scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries in line with the joint cooperation agreement signed in 2017. In addition, a report was presented on detailed negotiations for establishing lubricant and oil laboratories with the help of Sri Lanka.
