Secretary of biotechnology development headquarter stated: the working group of vaccination has aimed to create wealth and increase gross domestic product (GDP) to help the economic prosperity of the country.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Mostafa Ghanei, secretary of biotechnology development headquarter, stated about the activities of the vaccination working group: developing the industry of vaccination production is one of priorities of this year in order to help the economic flourishing of the country.

He added: improving health and life expectancy, creating jobs for graduates of this field and maintaining the elites, creating wealth and increasing GDP, and increasing the scientific and technological bargaining ability of the country are among the responsibilities of the vaccination working group.

According to Ghanei, fair access to health services is the responsibility of the government. Given the fact that the most important measure for preserving the society health and preventing diseases is vaccination, this industry is of paramount importance in the country.

He also asserted: with regard to the importance of vaccination industry in the country, the biotechnology development headquarter has established the vaccination working group and determined its various duties to develop this industry in the country.
