The growth of digital health in east of the country will be accelerated by establishing an innovation and acceleration center in Mashhad.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, along with signing a cooperation agreement between the digital economy development headquarter and Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, the innovation and acceleration center of digital health of east of Iran will be established.

This agreement is signed to realize the macro policies of the country in the field of science and technology and support national and knowledge-based products and services in the field of digital health in east of Iran.

Some of the goals of this agreement include targeted government support for commercialization of production and services of businesses based on information technology in health area, middle and short-term strategic planning for promotion of abilities to produce, export and develop the domestic market for information technology businesses in the field of digital health, organization, coordination and implementation of effective and targeted support of businesses based on information technology in health area.

Some of the topics of this agreement are planning to regulate and implement the standards level and continuously promote the quality of health products and services in IT-based businesses to create a continuous evaluation system for IT-based businesses in the field of health and their products and services.

In line with the implementation of the joint cooperation between digital economy and automation technologies development headquarter and Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, the council for planning and supporting digital IT-based businesses has been established to set up and run the digital acceleration and innovation center for health in east of Iran.
