The entrance of entrepreneurs into the field of stem cells is facilitated by holding the entrepreneurial event of stem cells and regenerative medicine by the stem cells sciences and technologies development headquarter.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Soroush Shekarchian, the executive secretary of the third entrepreneurial event of stem cells and regenerative medicine expressed: this event is associated with key lectures by successful entrepreneurs and managers. Among the topics of the lecture were “how to create ideas”, “necessity of business ecosystem and how to complete it” and “methods for financial support of startups”.

In addition, Shekarchian asserted: after introducing and assessing the ideas by participants, teams are formed and professional mentors help them flourish their ideas. After three days of teamwork, the final work will be presented to the judges. Ultimately, three teams will be selected and receive cash prizes of five, three, and two million IRT.

The executive secretary of the third entrepreneurial event of stem cells and regenerative medicine announced the presence of an investment panel in the event, explaining: after the final presentation of ideas by teams, a non-disclosure agreement will be signed between the idea makers and investment panel in case of accepting of ideas.

Shekarchian also announced the holding of a virtual event in this field, which is accessible on the virtual media. In this pre-event, the audiences are familiarized with “idea-making” methods and the general process of “the three-day event”.

The third entrepreneurial event of stem cells and regenerative medicine will be held November 25^th-27^th, 2018 in Tehran by the efforts of stem cells sciences and technologies development headquarter. The administrative personnel of the event includes a number of dynamic students interested in this field, who plan and implement the virtual pre-event and the three-day event.
