The manager of the strategic technologies development network expressed: the thematic and geographic coverage of activities of the network will be developed.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Reza Asadifard, manager of the strategic technologies development network, affirmed about accepting new members: laboratory centers throughout the country can apply for membership without limitation of their organization type. The main prerequisite for accepting a laboratory facility in the network is to provide services to the public.

He added: if the applicant"s laboratory is not selective about its customers, the degree and manner of its delivery will be checked and, if any, the laboratory will be a pilot member of the network.

According to Asadifard, during the six-month trial period, the lab will proceed with the registration of the information on the network and will be familiar with the rules and guidelines of the network.

He also asserted: at the end of the trial period, the laboratory"s performance will be evaluated, and if the minimum required score is obtained, the laboratory membership will be determined on the network. However, the renewal of this membership depends on the performance of the laboratory in the network, which is based on annual evaluations.

Manager of the strategic technologies development network continued: in the last year, about 148 new membership requests were received by the secretary, membership of 56 of which was approved by the network.
