Development of the use of technologies in water field to supply and purify drinking water, especially in deprived regions, is one of the measures taken by the water, drought, erosion, and environment technologies development headquarter.

In this regard, a cooperation agreement was signed between the municipality and rural water and wastewater company of Bushehr Province to increase the pace of advancement in this field.

In addition, development of new technologies in water field and eliminating challenges in the desalination processes are followed up by signing this agreement. In addition, treatment of saline water and elimination of turbidity with emphasis on creating sustainable employment and realization of statements of the Supreme Leader in the year of production booming are other goals of the agreement. Furthermore, the agreement was signed to increase the pace of installation of water purification systems using new desalination methods to supply fresh water in rural and selected areas. On the other hand, the agreement’s goal is to develop domestic production power and effectively use the capacities of knowledge-based companies to improve service provision to the people in Bushehr province.
