Development of biological sciences and space exploration of the priorities of public space applications

 

Chairman of Iran national space administration announced that the development of biological sciences and space exploration is among the priorities of public space applications

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Manouchehr Manteghi, chairman of Iran national space administration, pointed out the necessity of developing public space applications in the country, expressing: in the second 1-year space program, our main focus in on the development of space services for the society so that we could have quicker access to the necessary technologies via international cooperation.

He continued: therefore, one of the most important priorities of this program is development of biosciences, space exploration and sending humans to the space using international facilities. This can be realized by the cooperation of all relevant organizations in the area of space.

Manteghi also asserted: development of research at all levels of scientific centers of the country and creating cooperation as a consortium at the national and international level can be one of the priorities of this field.  

Chairman of Iran national space administration continued: on the first 10-year program, the national capability and authority was developed using the development of space technologies. However, the public applications will be developed during the second program.
