Ruhollah Dehghani, Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-based Economy, in the first empowerment program in the field of governance and management of the health system, which was held as part of the 26th meeting of senior experts of the G5 countries, emphasized the need for cooperation between the G5 countries in various fields, said: If we can define a stable cross-border cooperation in the field of health, good things will definitely happen.

At the opening for the 26th meeting of senior experts of Group 5 countries, which included Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, and Tajikistan, Ruhollah Dehghani said: Scientific and technological cooperation with Group 5 countries can be one of the strengths for all members of this group.

He added: Group 5 countries with a population of 400 million people, with cultural, social and popular similarities and backgrounds, can be a large cross-border group for the development of a healthy economy, which is one of the most important pillars of sustainable economic development in any country.

Dehghani continued: In the Islamic Republic in the past years and especially in the past two decades, many investments were made in the field of health and medical equipment, which resulted in several thousands of active knowledge-based and technological companies in various fields of health. Many technologies, including biotechnologies, are well developed in the country and today they are one of the biggest platforms for the development of technology in this country; Iran has achieved good success in self-sufficiency in medicines, medical equipment and innovative medical services.

Dehghani said: I think if we can define a stable cross-border cooperation in the field of health that has a stable market and economy and is always a serious issue for all people and countries, good things will definitely happen.

Referring to Iran's ability to provide scientific and technological achievements, the head of the National Elites Foundation said: We are ready to share our scientific and technological achievements with the member countries to form joint cooperation, joint companies and joint investments, which can definitely benefit all members.

He also said: At the same time, in discussions such as the exchange of patients and the exchange of students and technological researchers between these countries, it can provide the basis for the development and transfer of experiences between the members of the countries. We have the honor to share all our tools to develop the economy of this important, popular and valuable issue and to benefit from its achievements through serious cooperation.
