According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the program of developing the ecosystem for creative companies by the Vice-Presidency is a complementary program for the law of support of knowledge-based companies. This program will provide services to knowledge-based companies active in areas of digital businesses and the cyberspace, audiovisual industries, cultural heritage, tourism and handicrafts, visual arts and exhibiting arts, games, toys, design and architecture, publication, printing and library, medicinal herbs and traditional medicine, if their eligibility is confirmed, based on the issued regulations.

Creative companies are introduced to the secretariat of creative companies by specialized organizations called “origin” to benefit from the advantages and services of the program. The medicinal herbs and traditional medicine technologies development headquarter is one of these origins that identifies and introduces creative companies, evaluates the eligibility of companies and introduces the qualified companies to the relevant secretariat to use the services of this program.

Criteria for confirming the eligibility of creative companies at the level of the country include having one of the legal entities to be registered in the legal system of the country, receiving a written request from the company to the Evaluation Headquarters by the medicinal herbs and traditional medicine technologies development headquarter, innovative product/service and having a level of distinction from similar activities in the country, having the capacity related to economic, social and cultural effectiveness, having the necessary permissions from the competent authorities, and lack of having knowledge-based services and products.
