Commercialization of UAV technologies will be accelerated by attendance of the private sector
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, stated on the inauguration ceremony of the first UAV innovation center: commercialization and entrance of these technologies to the lives of people will be accelerated by role playing of the private sector in the industry and technology of UAVs.
Sattari expressed that this type of innovation centers must be formed in other technological areas, affirming: this area is one of the main priorities in the technology field with regard to the accelerated growth of specific technologies and due to their necessity in the country based on the vision plan. Therefore, the necessary infrastructures must be created for the private sector to enter the market.
Support of Technological Projects in the area of UAVs
Barzegar, manager of the innovation center of commercial UAVs pointed out: this is the first specialized center in the area of UAV technologies and innovation that supports innovative ideas in the field that have commercialization capacity with the cooperation of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs.
Production of Commercial UAVs with the Possibility of International Presentation
Manouchehr Manteghi, chairman of Iran national space administration, mentioned the capacity of the center for support of commercial UAVs to be presented in international markets, marking: this innovation center can create a capacity with using all of its abilities to specifically produce UAVs that can be presented to foreign customers.

The vice president for science and technology affairs also visited the Wellness Innovation Center, which supports all ideas and technologies in the area of improving the life style and quality and health. The hologram evaluation unit and equipment at the center can provide a good illustration of the health and lifestyle of individuals and ways to improve it.
In this visit, Sattari was accompanied by Mahmoud Sheikh Zeinoddin, deputy of technology innovation and commercialization, Manouchehr Manteghi, chairman of Iran national space administration, Parviz Karami, secretary of knowledge-based economy, technology and science development headquarter, and Peyman Salehi, head of the center for national technology macro plans.
