According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the call for the second national, cultural and art festival of “made in Iran” is published along with the year of “support of Iranian product” and with regard to the successful implementation and welcoming of the first round of the event by artists and entrepreneurs.

According to this report, the second round of the “Made in Iran” festival will be held with the support of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs and support of the knowledge-based economy, technology and science development headquarter in six sections with the slogan of “Iranian Technology; Iranian Business”.

Objectives of Festival

The festival has six goals, including cultural mainstreaming of knowledge-based economy to help realize the slogan of support of Iranian product, culture building to support Iranian products and increasing job opportunities for human assets of the country, preventing excess import of products with domestic high-quality counterparts, laying the foundation for flourishing of the ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship with a job-creation approach, culture building, promoting and publishing the works produced on the cyberspace, media and IRIB with the help of cultural activists of the country, and helping the branding and commercializing of high-quality and knowledge-based Iranian products. 

Sections of Festival

The second round of the “Made in Iran” festival will be held in areas of literature, visual arts, auditory and visual media, digital media, and student and market idea.

General Conditions of Festival

Similar to other festivals, the festival of “Made in Iran” has some general conditions for its participants, according to which the attendees can send their new and previously established works (since 2013) (concomitant with stating the policies of economy of resistance by the supreme leader) to the secretariat of the festival. Moreover, the festival will be held in the form a specialized and competitive event without an age limitation. Therefore, all of the people can participate in this cultural and technological event.

According to this report, the second round of the national, cultural and art festival of “Made in Iran” will be held in Tehran during December 25^th-29^th, 2018 with the slogan of support of Iranian products and with the cooperation of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs. The general director of this festival is Parviz Karami.
