The project of “preparation of content for indicators of assessment of biotechnology in Iran” will be implemented by the Research, infrastructure and technology development working group.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, awareness about science and technology is required for their progress in the country. Therefore, measuring and assessing the scientific and biotechnological indicators are of paramount importance. With regard to the establishment of the “national system for assessment of innovation and biotechnology in Iran” and determining the titles of the indicators in this system require collecting data on the indicators and their assessment. The goal of this project is providing the information about the indicators in the system.

The main audience of this plan will be the biotechnology development headquarter, researchers, research centers and science and technology policy makers. Enthusiasts of this field can send their projects until June 21^st 2018 to the headquarter. The priorities of this area are related to experts in fields of scientometrics, biotechnology, financial and statistics and those with expertise in science and technology policy making or management.
