Applied industrial nanotechnology program is presented in Taiwan

The nanotechnology development headquarter presented the applied industrial nanotechnology program in Taiwan in the presence of the Asia Nano Forum.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the delegation sent from the nanotechnology development headquarter along with one of the active companies in the area of nano medications were present in the meeting of the Asia Nano Forum held in Taiwan.

Along with the meeting, the Nano Eksir Sina Co. introduced its nano medications, which were welcomed by the audiences.

During the program, a one-day workshop on commercialization of nano technology was held. In the morning meeting of this workshop with the title of nanotechnology policy making and opportunities, Ali Beitollahi, manager of the international affairs working group of the headquarter, presented the applied nano technology industrialization program as the representative of nanotechnology development headquarter and expressed a plan designed with the goal of helping the commercialization and industrialization of nanotechnology by companies.

In addition, the representatives of Malaysia, Thailand, and Philippine explained about the policies of their countries regarding the commercialization of nanotechnology. In the evening meeting of the workshop, the nanotechnology companies of Iran, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Thailand introduced their achievements and products. From Iran, Dr. Jafari, head of the board of trustees of Nano Eksir Sina Co. introduced its company.

On the second day, the annual meeting of the Asia Nano Forum was held in the presence of representatives from Iran, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Philippine, Thailand, Australia, Austria, and Malaysia, which included decision on annual meeting and reports of the countries. 

In this meeting, Dr. Beitollahi explained about the process and achievements of global nano Olympiad which, was held in April 2018, inviting the Asian countries to attend the next rounds of the event.

In addition, he explained about the Asia-Europe dialogue program on nano safety, which was held by the innovation of Iran in fall of 2017 for the first time. After that, the representative of Austria welcomed the program and announced that the second round of the event will be held in Vienna in fall 2018.

On the second day, the attendees of ANF meeting attended a meeting in the presence of minister of higher education of Taiwan and the vice president of this country in the presidency castle of Taiwan. In this meeting, a team from Taiwan that had received the top rank and holding the program by the nanotechnology development headquarter received awards.

In this meeting, Beitollah, head of the strategic committee of global nano Olympiad explained the goals and missions of this global event. Following that, the minister of higher education of Taiwan pointed out that this global competition will be held by aiming global challenges approved by the united nation to contribute to education and research in the nanotechnology field.
