According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, pointed out the new concepts, such as accelerator, startup, creative companies and venture capitals in knowledge-based economy in a meeting with entrepreneurs, selected startups and knowledge-based units, which was held in the presence of the first vice president and minister of industry, stating: over the past four years, some models have been obtained in these areas, according to which research can be turned into the basis of economy. Therefore, a proper phenomenon happened for the economy of the country, which was far away from these areas, in order to fully grasp the importance of knowledge-based economy.

President of the national elites foundation also pointed out that in fact, these centers are a part of the technology and innovation ecosystem and have created a space with their activities, where an inventor can introduce his final product to the market.

Sattari also mentioned that the formation of this ecosystem has been associated with some difficulties, expressing: in addition to financial issues, formation of this culture in the society is on our way. Nevertheless, knowledge-based companies have successfully passed this path. Soon, knowledge-based companies will be turned into the largest companies of the country.

The vice president for science and technology affairs emphasized that knowledge-based companies and startups have a strong will to develop the economy of the country. In this regard, he asserted: all of this will occur through synergy and creating the infrastructures in the body of government, knowledge-based companies, financial systems and change of attitudes toward the new economy. The young and creative generation of today is not looking for government jobs and want to eliminate the needs of the society through creativity and innovation. They just need a proper environment.
