The minister of oil stated: reliance on the domestic powers and use of their production not only leads to our pride, but it also guarantees the bright future of our children.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs cited by the news headquarter of “Made in Iran” festival, Bijhan Zanganeh, minister of oil, pointed out the empowering of domestic productions of “Made in Iran” in the past few years, expressing: over the past two years, the ministry of oil has seriously determined to use domestically produced products in a way that the path passed in this short duration cannot be compared to previous years. Today, many active knowledge-based companies in the area of oil construct oil-based equipment and many popular products in the area of oil industry by relying on domesticized abilities and nothing is more important than using these products by the ministry of oil.

Zanganeh continued: today, delivering oil to many villages is carried out by the same equipment. This equipment is an asset itself since providing gas for these areas lead to the purchasing of heating devices by families. However, this ministry has considered the maximal use of domestic products in concluding oil contracts.

He regarded two components of price and quality important in attracting Iranian customers, expressing: high-quality products which have logical costs can attract customers. Therefore, prevention of import is not the only way to direct customers toward domestic production. In fact, there must be policies to create trust in people toward domestic products, which can lead to the victory of Iranian products over their foreign counterparts.

The minister of oil pointed out the necessity of support of domestic products for the future generations, regarding the national festival of “Made in Iran” a proper act in line with this goal. In this regard, he mentioned: this national measure requires the presence of all people to provide the foundation for presenting the innovations and abilities of the country, which guarantees the future of our children. Moreover, support of high-quality Iranian products by people will prevent poverty and closing of factories. However, development of domestic products along with culture building requires market creation and more activities must be carried out to simulate demand and create the market for domestic products with a higher speed.

The second national festival of “Made in Iran” will be held with the goals of mainstreaming and content production for the cyberspace related to the cycle of commercialization, entrepreneurship and knowledge-based economy, support of Iranian-made knowledge-based products and services, organization of excessive import and valuating high-quality Iranian products, helping the branding of Iranian high-quality products. Various sections of the event include literature, visual arts, audiovisual media, digital media, idea market and student section. In addition, the slogan of the event is “Iranian technology, Iranian business” and it will be held in January. The registration deadline for the event is November 6^th 2018.
