In this area, the patent registration office of the Vice-Presidency has helped inventors due to the complexities of foreign patent registration and its high costs, evaluating and supporting the submitted requests using methods applied at valid foreign invention registration offices.
To date, 93 patents have received grant from foreign offices with more than 90% support of office. Of the total of 1,740 requests submitted in the system, 286 files have been approved for support.
In addition, patent registration cases affect the financial supply ability and attracting venture capitals by technological companies, and their registration is its biggest protection tool. Therefore, the patent system is a platform for commercializing an idea and technology.
