In this event, 25 art groups will compete in the first “competitive event of animation production”. The event’s topic is the life and biography of martyr Ghasem Soleimani. The event will be held February 4^th-6^th, 2020 at the knowledge-based business club of Sharif University of Technology.

In total, 92 animation developers will present ideas in the form of 25 groups from 15 provinces using different techniques. It is notable that women have an unprecedented participation in the event. In fact, 60% of the participants are women. The teams present at the event will experience practical, technical and industrial animation within three days.

The animation developers come from the provinces of Alborz, Hamedan, Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari, Fars, Khorasan Razavi, Hormozgan, Sistan & Baluchestan, Khuzestan, Mazandaran, Qom, Yazd, Semnan, Isfahan, North Khorasan and Tehran.

Before that, 25 short screenplays of the life of Martyr Soleimani were written and provided to groups in order to produce the best quality under the supervision of professors within 72 hours. The animation production technique at the event is also free.

The first animation development competition will be held by the efforts of Rezvan Accelerator and in cooperation with the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter, the vice president of IRIB, Saba Animation Center and Children’s network.
