Providing research grants for top researchers of the country is one of the actions performed in order to develop science and technology in the country. Therefore, 108 research grants have been provided by the foundation to this date.

According to the Public Relations and information Center of the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology, providing research grants for researchers of the country is one of the actions performed by the national science foundation to develop the scientific and technological activities of the country. In this regard, those who lacked the condition to receive the grant will be supported by the foundation. This credit is valid for one year with the value of 500 million IRR.

The foundation has provided a total of 108 research grants to support the activities of researchers during 2007-2017. This action is performed in order to create the science production capacity. However, compilation of books, article publication, production of samples and patent registration are among achievements due to this support.
