According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, talked about the necessities of moving toward the formation of ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship and the significance of knowledge-based economy in boosting production on the meeting held on April 8^th, 2019 in the presence of some provincial managers. Pointing out the emphasis of the Supreme Leader on the flourishing of production and setting the slogan of this year based on the same issue, Sattari mentioned that all of these depend on the domestic and knowledge-based production in the country. In this regard, he added: emphasizing the boosting of production means that production must be carried out based on domestic capabilities and using domestic innovation.

The vice president for science and technology affairs believes: the industry, which seeks to design, mechanize, optimize and make production lines possible for its creative and young manpower and innovation will boom production. Entrepreneurship has produced revenues for many people and has made a holy act. Therefore, it must be supported. This shows that the province is still far from accepting the importance and high position of entrepreneurship.

The vice president for science and technology affairs mentioned that the Iranian knowledge-based companies and the ecosystem created in our country is the top one in the region. In this respect, he conveyed: technological fields such as biotechnology and nanotechnology have valuable capacities for development and progress. However, all of these depend on creating a suitable environment for entrepreneurship and encouraging investors of the private sector to be involved in this area.

According to Sattari, successful examples of this evolution in the capital are tangible. Knowledge-based businesses and startups have initiated a new path for citizens and will bring us a better life by innovation.

Despite being newly established, these businesses have generated revenues worth of billions of dollars.
